As Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, the following individuals have received education, training and experience enabling them to be skilled in working with individuals, couples, families and groups. CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) has established a networkk of trained clinicians who are ready to respond when there is the need in the community during times of public crisis or national disaster.

The CAMFT Trauma Response Network established a consistent standard of training by requiring each participant to complete three distinct courses which highlights important differences among the systems of psychological first aid.

  1. A basic course in Disaster Mental Health, "In the Eye of the Storm...Essentials for Disaster Mental Health", developed by Diane Myers, RN, MSN, CTS.
  2. A course in basic Critical Incident Stress Management which is taught by an instructor of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
  3. The American Red Cross's Disaster Mental Health Services course.

In the event of a personal, work related, public or natural disaster crisis or trauma, the following individuals have met all the necessary cedrtifications.
