Join CAMFT Executive Director, Joy Alafia, CAE for an understanding about events, legislation, and internal association processes that are currently impacting CAMFT members.
Educational Goals
Designed for Mental Health Professionals, this 90-minute presentation will discuss general CAMFT issues and priorities. There will also be updates on Medicare, the BBS, license portability, as well as California legislative updates. Finally, discussion on why it is important to avail yourself of the Legal Consultation service CAMFT provides. There will be ample time for Q&A.

Participants will:
· Learn about at least 3 recently passed / pending legislation that impact MFTs.
· Identify one resource for legal consultation for therapists.
· Identify 1 change on the horizon on how MFTs work in today’s world.
